Questions worth answering up front

Firm

  • Fee-only means I only get paid for the service you pay for. No hidden fees, proprietary product fees, 12b-1 fees, insurance fees, or referral fees. This helps align incentives when I make recommendations for you.

A fiduciary is someone that acts on behalf of a client and always puts the client first. They have a legal and ethical obligation to act in the client’s best interest. Not all financial advisors, investment professionals, or portfolio managers are fiduciaries.

  • Yes. While I’m based in Scottsdale, I work with clients nationwide through a fully virtual process—so you can get the same level of guidance regardless of where you live.

Services

  • I work with high earners, equity-compensated professionals, and families building meaningful wealth—often navigating growing complexity around taxes, investments, and major life decisions.

Many clients are in their 30s and 40s, though what matters more than age is being in a stage where coordination matters.

  • We want to provide access for people that need advice.

Financial Planning for individuals and families that want to manage their own investments but still want objective advice to help create a rock-solid plan on their path to building wealth.

Financial Planning and Investment Management for individuals and families that have a rock-solid plan in place but want ongoing checkups as life changes and want to delegate the financial part of their lives to an expert. They also want proactive service and feel comfort in knowing that their investments are professionally managed, and someone is available for when important life events come up.

  • Because building wealth and managing wealth are different skill sets. As income and complexity grow, important decisions around taxes, investments, equity compensation, and family priorities start affecting each other. I help bring those pieces together through coordinated, fee-only advice rooted in planning — not product sales. Clients often come for clarity, better decisions, and a trusted long-term partner.

Fees

  • See the Services + Pricing page.

Fees depend on complexity and whether you need comprehensive planning, ongoing advisory support, or both.

Most clients begin with a first-year planning engagement of $7,500, with ongoing fees discussed based on scope and assets.

For investment management, I use a transparent tiered fee schedule. The goal is simple: clear pricing, aligned incentives, and advice that creates far more value than it costs.

    Asset Level and Fee:

    First $1 million 0.90%

    Next $4 million 0.70%

    Next $5 million+ 0.50%

    Example: A $10 million account is charged an investment fee of $62,000 [($1M x 0.90%) + ($4M x 0.70%) +($5M x 0.50%)].

  • You can pay for Financial Planning with a debit card or link your checking account. Investment Management fees are charged through our trading platform.

  • My goal is to make getting started feel thoughtful, not high pressure. There is no long-term lock-in, and you can end the relationship at any time. I also offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee: if you don’t feel the relationship is delivering value, I’ll refund your fee in full.
